Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle, WA seeks a Sr. SAP Finance architect to lead the SAP FICO implementation, configuring and deploying the module to support financial and management accounting processes.

The ideal candidate has deep SAP FICO expertise, with end-to-end manufacturing and finance process knowledge, including cost planning and actual costing, and will work with business partners, IT, and partners to design integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 5 years implementing and configuring SAP FICO with emphasis on financial and management accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management accounting concepts.
• Solid knowledge of SAP FICO integration with MM, SD, CO.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document requirements for financial accounting and management accounting.
• Design and configure SAP FICO to meet business requirements, including GL, AR, AP, Asset, Bank, Cost Center, Profit Center, Product Costing, and PA.
• Customize and develop SAP FICO solutions, including user exits, ABAP programs, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow across modules.
• Conduct thorough testing (unit/integration/UAT) to ensure correct configuration and functionality.
• Develop and execute training plans to train end-users on SAP FICO processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control requirements.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance as needed.
• Document configurations, customizations, and best practices for knowledge transfer.
