Job summary

BDI seeks a Senior SAP FICO Business Analyst to optimize and support SAP ECC 6.0 financial and controlling functions. The role bridges finance stakeholders and technical teams to ensure compliant, efficient systems that support global distribution operations.

You will lead FI/CO configuration, testing, and integration with third‑party systems while driving process improvements and providing end-user training. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of SAP Business Analyst/Consultant experience with focus on FICO.
• Hands-on SAP ECC 6.0 experience; S/4HANA familiarity a plus.
• Experience with finance system integrations (Vertex, Hyland OnBase, Billtrust).
• Industrial distribution/manufacturing/retail domain experience desirable.
• Deep functional expertise in SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking) and CO (CCA, PCA, Product Costing, CO-PA).
• Understanding of integration with MM, SD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements for Finance and Accounting.
• Lead design, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of core SAP FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR, CO-PA).
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local tax laws.
• Manage integration between SAP ECC 6.0 and external systems (EDI, Hyland/OnBase, Vertex, Billtrust, SAP BW).
• Develop test scenarios, conduct unit/integration testing, coordinate UAT.
• Create documentation and train end-users and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements leveraging SAP functionality.
