Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a seasoned SAP S/4HANA EWM Functional Consultant with 7+ years of experience, preferably for a USA‑based manufacturing environment. You will drive requirements, design workflows, and lead data migration and cutover activities, interfacing with planning systems and ensuring seamless end-to-end processes.

Responsibilities include testing, user training, and on-site implementation across inbound/outbound warehouse movements, with strong focus on Putaway, picking

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP S/4 HANA EWM implementation experience.
• Hands-on design and implementation across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
• Experience facilitating workshops with business users for process analysis and configuration.
• Experience in data migration planning for EWM data objects and cutover strategy.
• Experience with Go-Live support and post Go-Live activities.
• Strong logistics and supply chain knowledge in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis: mapping AS-IS processes to To-Be SAP workflows.
• Functional testing and coordinating UAT with site process owners.
• User training and creating localized SOPs and manuals.
• Data migration validation before live loading.
• Warehouse blueprinting and mapping to SAP EWM structures.
• Process design and configuration for inbound, outbound and internal movements.
• Configure Putaway, Picking strategies, wave management and slotting.
• RF hardware integration and troubleshooting for real-time tracking.
• Inventory control including cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Cross-functional data flow between EWM and MM/SD/TM modules.
