Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a senior SAP data conversion lead to architect reference data flows and own end-to-end migration into SAP. You will partner with data analysts, SAP functional teams, engineers, and vendors to deliver clean, auditable ETL pipelines using BODS and related platforms.

The role emphasizes designing scalable ingestion patterns, automation of quality checks, and leading complex conversion programs in a hybrid work model with a Salisbury, NC core location.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering with large-scale systems.
• Proficiency in distributed data processing, orchestration, and storage patterns.
• Strong automation/scripting and version control practices.
• Excellent cross team communication and influence.
• Demonstrated experience leading SAP data conversion and migration workstreams.
• Advanced hands‑on expertise with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
• Strong SQL, data mapping, profiling, reconciliation, and governance skills.

Responsibilities

• Design reusable data ingestion and transformation patterns for scale.
• Automate data quality, lineage, and governance within CI/CD.
• Lead SAP data conversion and cutover activities.
• Harden security and privacy controls across pipelines.
• Develop and maintain SAP BODS jobs and workflows.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for delivery.
• Plan conversion rehearsals and post-load validation.
