Job summary

IBM Consulting in the United States is seeking a senior data migration lead to architect and manage migration programs from legacy systems to SAP BI environments. You will partner with SAP consultants, developers and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance throughout the migration lifecycle.

The role can be performed from anywhere in the US, with opportunities to mentor a team and drive continuous improvement in data migration processes.

Qualifications

Experience identifying and solving complex data problems for migration programs.
Ability to define data cleansing, enrichment and validation rules.
Proven track record coordinating data migration with SAP systems and BI tools.
Experience leading data governance and metadata initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute data migration strategy and plan across SAP environment.
Define scope, objectives and deliverables for data migration activities.
Coordinate with project managers to align data migration with project timelines.
Identify and manage data migration risks and issues.
Oversee ETL development, data mapping and validation for legacy to SAP
Define and execute data migration test plans and UAT with business users.
Create documentation of data mapping, rules and validation criteria.
