EPAM Systems in the United States is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to join the Center of Excellence focusing on data insights and analytics. The role centers on SAP-based data platform development supporting retail, marketing, and finance domains.

Responsibilities include designing SAP CAR solutions with HANA, SQLScript, CDS views, and ABAP; building data models; and integrating interfaces to ECC, POS, BW, and reporting platforms while ensuring performance and quality.

Qualifications

4–6 years SAP technical development experience.
Experience in SAP CAR, SAP Retail or POS data processing.
Knowledge of POS, store operations, promotions, and inventory.
Deliver solutions from design to deployment including hypercare.
Strong functional knowledge to translate business needs.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilités

Design and develop SAP CAR technical solutions.
Build SAP HANA calculation views and data models.
Support POS data integration, validation, and reconciliation.
Develop interfaces between SAP CAR, ECC, POS, BW, and reporting platforms.
Collaborate with consultants, business analysts, solution architects, and QA teams.
Create and maintain technical specifications, unit tests, and deployment notes.
