Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10 - 15 years of SAP experience, with strong expertise in SAP BTP, including CAP (Cloud Application Programming), SAP Fiori/UI5, OData services, and integration with on-premise and cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications on the SAP BTP platform
  
• Develop custom applications using SAP CAP, Node.js/Java, CDS, and SAP Fiori/UI5
  
• Integrate SAP BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, SAP Gateway, and other services
  
• Manage and optimize SAP BTP services (e.g., Cloud Foundry, Kyma, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Mobile Services)
  
• Design and implement OData services, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures
  
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and performant
  
• Stay up-to-date with the latest BTP offerings and SAP roadmaps
  

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP technologies
  
• 3+ years of deep experience in SAP BTP and Cloud Foundry
  
• Strong hands-on experience with CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
  
• Expertise in SAP Fiori/UI5 development
  
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, CDS, OData, and RESTful services
  
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh
  
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control
  
• Exposure to SAP Launchpad, SAP Business Application Studio, and SAP Build Apps
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP BTP certifications
  
• Experience with Kyma runtime, multi-cloud architecture, and cloud-native development
  
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
  
• Knowledge of ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) is a plus
  

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
