Job summary

The State of South Carolina Department of Administration seeks a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise reporting across agencies. Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or a related technical field and at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in business intelligence, reporting, or analytics development. Three (3) years of which must be with enterprise reporting or data warehousing platforms such as SAP BusinessObjects BI, SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or comparable technologies.
• Relevant experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support complex enterprise reports, dashboards, and semantic layers using the SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence platform.
• Develop solutions using SAP Web Intelligence, SAP Crystal Reports, SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office, the Information Design Tool, and comparable analytics platforms such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
• Deliver reporting solutions across varying levels of complexity, data volume, and organizational scope.
• Design and develop complex analytical data models and queries within SAP BW and SAP BW/4HANA.
• Develop and maintain InfoObjects, Advanced DataStore Objects, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, transformations, Data Transfer Processes, process chains, and BW queries.
• Support the curation, integration, and warehousing of enterprise data for reporting and analytics consumption.
• Lead reporting remediation, conversion, testing, and validation activities associated with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW/4HANA transitions.
