Job summary

Penumbra is seeking a Manager of SAP BASIS and Security to lead the SAP landscape in a regulated medical device environment. You will direct a team of BASIS administrators, oversee S/4HANA and BTP, and drive upgrades, security design, and integrations with middleware and APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 8+ years of SAP BASIS experience.
• SAP certifications in BASIS and/or Integration technologies.
• 3 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP BASIS leadership, staff management and performance development.
• Oversee SAP S/4HANA and BTP, vendor relationships, and system performance across landscapes.
• Manage upgrades, patching, transport management, DR and backup strategies.
• Design and maintain advanced security models within S/4HANA, GRC, and role design.
• Coordinate integration strategies using API-based solutions and middleware.
• Ensure IT security, change control, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
