Oliver James Group is seeking a Senior / Lead SAP Basis Administrator to support a complex SAP landscape in the Greater Houston area. This hands-on role focuses on upgrades, performance tuning and the ongoing transition to S/4HANA in a fully onsite environment.

• 6+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience supporting SAP upgrade projects through full upgrade lifecycle.
• Practical experience with SPDD/SPAU activities and upgrade troubleshooting.
• Strong technical understanding of SAP ABAP, Java/NetWeaver and SAP BOBJ environments.
• Experience administering and supporting SAP ECC, S/4HANA, PI and Solution Manager.
• Experience with SAP HANA and familiarity with DB2 databases.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex SAP issues.
• Experience supporting production SAP landscapes, including maintenance, performance monitoring and incident resolution.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, maintain and optimize enterprise SAP environments for stability and performance.
• Support end-to-end SAP upgrade projects, including planning and execution.
• Perform SAP upgrade activities (SPDD/SPAU).
• Provide technical administration across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/BOBJ, PI, NetWeaver and Solution Manager.
• Troubleshoot complex SAP Basis issues across ABAP, Java and databases.
• Support SAP installations, migrations, maintenance and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with infra, networking, DB and app teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and operational improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support production SAP systems.
