Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Senior SAP ABAP Developer in Juno Beach, FL to lead design, development, and deployment of ABAP-based solutions across SAP S/4HANA. Responsibilities include custom programs, interfaces, and workflows for Phase 3 enhancements, plus integration with external platforms.

The role requires deep ABAP expertise, strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, and experience with CDS Views, OData, REST APIs, and Enhancement Framework.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA mandatory; ECC experience acceptable.
• Proficiency with OData Services, REST APIs, and RFC/BAPI integrations.
• Experience with CDS Views, ABAP Dictionary, and Open SQL.
• Experience with Adobe Forms, SmartForms, and SAPscript.
• Knowledge of Enhancement Framework, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements.
• SAP certification in ABAP or S/4HANA (preferred).
• Experience supporting SIT/UAT and end-to-end testing.
• MM, FI/AP, or procurement module exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Phase 3 SAP enhancements including custom programs, reports, forms, and workflows.
• Build and maintain custom interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and external applications.
• Enhance procurement, invoicing, accounts payable, and supply chain transactions using Enhancement Framework, BADIs, and User Exits.
• Develop OData services and REST APIs to support integration and reporting requirements.
• Create and modify Adobe Forms and SmartForms for output and document generation.
• Develop CDS Views for reporting, analytics, and Fiori app enablement.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical design documentation, and mentor junior developers.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical defects identified during testing and post‑go‑live phases.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
