Job summary

Mentis Systems in Austin is seeking an SAP developer to design, build, and deploy SAP solutions using Fiori, UI5 and BTP technologies. You will participate in all phases from requirements gathering through go-live and support, collaborating with finance IT and purchasing workflows.

You will work on cloud-based SAP applications, integration with SAP S/4HANA environments, and code remediation across ECC to S/4HANA migrations, with strong emphasis on documentation and cross-team communication.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, or others.
• Knowledge of BTP tools/services like SAP Build Work Zone, BAS, and Git.
• Experience developing cloud-based applications on SAP BTP.
• Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments with S/4HANA upgrades and ECC to S/4HANA upgrades with code remediation.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform, RISE, and SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, BAPI, SOAP, REST).
• Strong communication and ability to write technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and development: participate in design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions using SAP BTP, ABAP, SAP Fiori and SAPUI5.
• System implementation: participate in full lifecycle of SAP projects from requirements to go-live and support.
• Collaboration: work with functional teams, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Methodology: adhere to clean core principles, adapt cloud apps using SAP Cloud Platform tools, embrace cloud mindset.
• Documentation: develop and maintain technical design specs, test plans, and user manuals.
