Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Senior Sanitation Manager for the 3rd shift to lead our sanitation operations in the poultry processing plant. You will direct sanitation supervisors, ensure adherence to GMP, USDA, and FDA guidelines, and drive clean, safe, and efficient production.

This role requires 5 years of sanitation or supervisory experience, strong leadership, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field required.
• Experience: 5 years Sanitation or 5 years supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
• Skills: clear communication, independent decision making, strong organization, attention to detail, SAP experience preferred, MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Leads the daily sanitation department operations to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Upholds company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervises, trains, and develops sanitation staff.
• Performs sanitation audits to verify compliance and drive improvement.
• Develops sanitation procedures aligned with GMP, USDA, and FDA regulations.
• Provides safety training and enforces OSHA standards.
• Collaborates with production, quality, and maintenance to optimize sanitation performance.
• Manages sanitation department budget and identifies cost improvement opportunities.
• Assumes additional responsibilities to support Operations.
