Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a qualified State & Local Tax professional to join our team in a hybrid role. The candidate will organize client data, prepare and file state and local tax returns, and interact with clients and tax authorities across the US. A strong research and writing background is required to deliver solid tax advisory support.

Minimum 2+ years in state and local tax, with a Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. CPA or advanced degrees are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of State and Local Tax experience.
• Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and cleansing client data tax department.
• Preparing and filing state and local tax returns throughout the US.
• Interacting with clients and with state tax authorities.
• Managing registrations and business licenses for clients.
• Collaborating with other state and local tax professionals within the firm.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Ability to work well in a group or independently as needed.
• Ability to see the big picture from the client's perspective.
• Identify solutions to issues and think creatively.
