CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Sales Tax Consulting Senior to join our State & Local Tax practice. You will research multistate sales and use tax issues, manage compliance engagements, and help clients optimize tax outcomes across multiple jurisdictions.

You will mentor associates and collaborate across CLA service lines to deliver integrated solutions. The role emphasizes growth through SALT training, client exposure, and hands-on project leadership.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2+ years' of relevant experience required.
• CPA eligible preferred (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Research and advise on multistate sales and use tax issues, including nexus, taxability, and exemptions to minimize client exposure.
• Lead and support compliance engagements — return preparation, voluntary disclosure agreements, and audit defense across multiple jurisdictions.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and communicate actionable insights to clients in clear, business-friendly language.
• Manage engagements from scoping through delivery, with increasing ownership of timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
• Partner across CLA service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class client experience.
• Grow expertise through CLA's SALT training programs and exposure to complex multistate issues.
• Mentor associates and interns, building a high-performing SALT team.
