Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a highly capable Senior Salesforce Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable CRM solutions for our Sales organization. You will own delivery across the full solution lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders and distributed engineering teams to ensure secure, maintainable platforms.

The role emphasizes Apex, LWC, JavaScript, and API integrations, with a focus on governance, performance, and modernization of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 8+ years of Salesforce development and enterprise application engineering
• Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, Flows, SOQL, APIs, and Salesforce customization
• CI/CD, deployment processes, code refactoring, and performance optimization in Salesforce environments
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, ETL tools, and automation platforms
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification strongly preferred; other certifications are a plus
• Familiarity with AI-powered tooling for development and documentation (Cursor, Claude Code, Agentforce)

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions
• Support enhancements, break/fix issues, and ongoing maintenance across Salesforce apps and integrations
• Investigate issues and work with multiple teams to resolve them effectively
• Communicate delivery status and technical challenges to stakeholders
• Manage multiple priorities while ensuring timely delivery
• Research new platform capabilities and engineering approaches to improve Salesforce ecosystem
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and admins
• Build strong cross-team relationships and foster ownership and collaboration
