Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, build, integrate, and sustain scalable Salesforce solutions that deliver long-term value for our businesses and customers. This role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership and collaborates with product owners, administrators, analysts, and delivery teams.

You will own technical design, develop with Apex and LWC, lead integrations via REST/SOAP, and drive secure, scalable, and maintainable platform capabilities

Qualifications

• Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience designing and supporting integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, middleware, or event-driven patterns.
• Experience writing unit tests, debugging complex issues, code reviews, and applying Salesforce security practices.
• Experience translating requirements into technical designs and specifications for delivery teams.
• Experience using source control and deploying Salesforce configurations across environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and hands-on development of Salesforce capabilities using Apex, LWC, Flow, APIs and related tools.
• Translate user stories into scalable designs, balancing config and code while ensuring security and performance.
• Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise apps via REST, SOAP, and middleware.
• Lead delivery through estimation, design reviews, testing, defect resolution, releases, and deployment.
• Create and maintain test classes, reusable components, coding standards, and runbooks.
• Apply secure development practices, including access controls and secure coding patterns.
• Design for large data volumes, bulk processing, asynchronous workloads, and observability.
• Collaborate with admins, architects, analysts, cybersecurity, and developers for end-to-end solutions.
• Support DevOps and release-management practices, including source control, validation, and post-release monitoring.
• Provide technical guidance, resolve production issues, and identify modernization opportunities.
