Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a senior Salesforce Architect to lead end-to-end multi-cloud implementations across Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud in a Columbus, OH-based role. You will design scalable, secure solutions, mentor a hybrid onshore/offshore team, and align IT with enterprise strategy, data, and personalization initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years in Salesforce, strong SFMC/Data Cloud experience, and enterprise-build/run exposure; certifications welcome.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in Salesforce ecosystem ideally within a Salesforce Architect, Senior Engineer, or similar role, preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) - Journey Builder, Automation Studio, AMPScript, and Contact Builder.
• Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 - Data ingestion, mapping, unification, and activation.
• Cross-Cloud Integrations bridging SFMC with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• SQL logic, data flow design, and complex audience segmentation.
• Agentforce and emerging AI marketing capabilities.
• Proven experience in MarTech solution design and multi-stream implementations.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale Salesforce environments (Build and Run projects).
• Familiarity with core Salesforce development (Apex & Lightning Web Components).
• Experience with B2B/B2C lead and case management processes.
• Relevant Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer, Data Cloud Consultant).

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise standards, focusing on SFMC, Data Cloud, and cross-cloud integrations.
• Own end-to-end solution design for multi-cloud implementations across Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud.
• Configure Data Cloud ingestion pipelines, identity resolution, and real-time segmentation for omnichannel campaigns.
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Marketing Cloud Connect.
• Provide solution architecture aligned to Sales, Service, and Marketing strategy.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture patterns.
• Provide technical leadership to a hybrid onshore/offshore team.
• Conduct code/design reviews and ensure performance, scalability, security; promote best practices.
