Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with accounts and end users to meet corporate and territory goals
- Develop and manage business plans for the assigned territory, including budgeting and reporting
- Collaborate with engineers and consultants to promote and secure product specifications
- Conduct local training programs tailored to individual territory needs, educating customers on product features and benefits
- Utilize CRM tools for project management, job tracking, and opportunity management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4-7 years of prior sales experience, particularly within the electrical distribution channel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences
- Solid understanding of commercial, residential, data center, and industrial markets
- Proficient in using Salesforce.com and other software for analysis and presentations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in contractor sales with a demonstrated track record of success
- Familiarity with digital competence and emerging applications within the industry
- Knowledge of connected home technologies and their applications
- Ability to understand and cater to the needs of various customer personas
- Experience in providing value-added services such as take-offs, drawings, and BIM
