Responsibilities include:

  1. Drive incremental revenue by establishing long-term trusted relationships with assigned major accounts.
  2. Architect designs leveraging Calix’s network and Cloud solutions using a consultative approach; identify client issues and desired outcomes.
  3. Act as a brand ambassador and thought leader for Calix, staying current with external technologies and trends, and leveraging this expertise for clients and internal teams.
  4. Partner with Sales to deliver technical sales presentations to customer technical staff and senior management.
  5. Assist in preparing and responding to RFx opportunities.
  6. Support customers in configuring and testing platforms in labs, field trials, and production networks, guiding them on technical and operational issues.

Qualifications:

  1. Highly talented with a results-oriented mindset.
  2. Self-starter with a reputation for being an effective change agent.
  3. Strong work ethic, with integrity and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize complex issues into solutions and work effectively across organizational levels.
  5. Ability to establish and solidify strategic relationships with key customers.
  6. Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region to support customer engagements.
  7. Strong technical knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 Access network architectures.

  9. Broadband provider operator knowledge, including routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS) and transport functions (L2/3 VPN).
  10. Ability to troubleshoot complex L2/L3 deployment issues.
  11. Experience working with cross-functional teams on product improvements, education, testing, and demos.
  12. Excellent presentation, written communication, and public speaking skills.
