Job summary

Coinbase, a remote-first company with quarterly in-person surges, seeks a Senior Sales Associate on the Infrastructure team in Denver. You will drive new partnerships with PSPs, fintechs, and banks to launch stablecoin payments on Coinbase and manage deals from diligence to close.

You’ll translate infrastructure capabilities into compelling executive-ready propositions, coordinate across legal, compliance, and product, and share market insights to shape Coinbase’s roadmap and positioning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales, BD, or partnerships at PSP/fintech/bank/crypto.
• Experience closing multi-stakeholder deals end-to-end.
• Knowledge of payments, stablecoins, and crypto domains.
• Ability to explain technical/crypto concepts to executives.
• Uses AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

As a Senior Sales Associate on the Coinbase Infrastructure team, you'll drive new partnership development with PSPs, fintechs, and banks looking to launch stablecoin payment products on Coinbase's platform. This team takes a consultative approach, helping partners move from strategy through integration and post-launch success across payments, trading, and agentic partnerships. You'll manage deal execution across the pipeline, build relationships with partner stakeholders, and contribute market insights that shape how Coinbase positions its infrastructure products to financial institutions.

What you'll do:

• Originate new partnership opportunities with PSPs, fintechs, and banks by researching high-potential prospects and developing tailored outreach and engagement strategies.
• Manage deal execution from initial diligence through negotiation and close, coordinating across legal, compliance, and technical workstreams while delivering against revenue targets.
• Lead partner conversations by translating Coinbase's stablecoin infrastructure capabilities into partner-specific value propositions for senior stakeholders.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Account Management, Solutions Architecture, Legal, and Specialty Sales to support smooth partner onboarding and integration.
• Share market intelligence, competitive insights, and partner feedback with Product and leadership to inform Coinbase's infrastructure roadmap and positioning.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships at a PSP, fintech, bank, or crypto company, with a track record of originating and closing deals.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals from inception through close, including coordination across legal, compliance, and technical workstreams.
• Working knowledge of the payments and trading ecosystem, including stablecoins, cross-border payments, card networks, payment rails, and digital wallets, with the ability to translate that knowledge into client-facing recommendations.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical and crypto concepts clearly and persuasively to senior and executive audiences.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
