The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Jamestown, NY, is seeking a Senior Sales Associate to help create a pleasant work environment and build strong customer relationships.

You will assist management in meeting sales, production, and budget goals, schedule staff, handle payroll information, participate in interviews, train new employees, ensure policy compliance, and support the work therapy program.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record.
• Ability to read and interpret simple income and expense reports.
• Good communication and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store personnel are aware of and in compliance with all policies, procedures, and government regulations, and that sales reports and paperwork are forwarded to the finance office daily.
• Backup for Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager as needed.
• Support the work therapy program component by providing beneficiaries with example of professional conduct and supervision.

The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities with every man or woman being provided a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Senior Sales Associate to assist in creating and sustaining a pleasant work environment and excellent customer relationships.

Duties:

• The Senior Sales Associate will assist the management team in meeting sales, production, and expense budget goals to maintain a profitable operation.
• Schedule store personnel.
• Complete of payroll information for all staff.
• Receive applications and participating in interviews as requested.
• Train, direct, and supervise of new employees.
• The Senior Sales Associate will ensure that store personnel are aware of and in compliance with all policies, procedures, and government regulations, that sales reports and other required paperwork are completed and forwarded to the finance office daily, and that the store is well stocked.
• The Senior Sales Associate will be backup for the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager as needed.
• The position will support the work therapy program component of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers by providing to beneficiaries; an example of professional conduct, work habits, and supervision (as directed by Supervisor).
