Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Erie seeks a Senior Sales Associate to help create a pleasant work environment and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting budgeted sales, production, and expenses.

You will schedule staff, process payroll data, assist with interviews, train new employees, ensure policy compliance, and back up the Store Manager as needed. The role also supports work therapy activities for beneficiaries through professional conduct and supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sales.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record.
• Ability to read and interpret simple income and expense reports.
• Good communication and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the management team in meeting sales, production, and expense budget goals to maintain a profitable operation.
• Schedule store personnel.
• Complete payroll information for all staff.
• Receive applications and participate in interviews as requested.
• Train, direct, and supervise new employees.
• Ensure that store personnel are aware of and in compliance with all policies, procedures, and government regulations, that sales reports and other required paperwork are completed and forwarded to the finance office daily, and that the store is well stocked.
• Backup for the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager as needed.
• Support the work therapy program component by providing beneficiaries with professional conduct, work habits, and supervision (as directed by Supervisor).
