Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development with Sage 300 ERP experience, including COM API and Web APIs.
• Proficiency in VB6, C# /.NET, and Python for Orchid Extender and Sage 300 frameworks.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and DB design.
• Experience designing enterprise integrations between Sage 300 and 3rd‑party systems using REST APIs and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Experience building custom reporting and BI with Crystal Reports or Sage Intelligence.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Preferred: experience in manufacturing/distribution/retail ERP environments; familiarity with cloud platforms, Git, and VB6‑to‑.NET migration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Sage 300 ERP solutions including macros and customizations.
• Build and maintain .NET apps using the Sage 300 COM API; develop Python-based solutions within Orchid Extender.
• Migrate VB6 components to .NET where feasible and maintain existing VB6 code.
• Design and support complex Sage 300 integrations with CRM, eCommerce, WMS, shipping, and payment systems.
• Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases and performance tuning.
• Build reports and BI solutions using Crystal Reports and Sage Intelligence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive delivery.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide scalable technical recommendations.
• Mentor juniors and uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Maintain technical documentation and integration specs.
• Provide production support and end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
