Job summary

Revolution Medicines in Redwood City, CA is seeking a Senior Safety Scientist to provide safety science and pharmacovigilance support across the RevMed portfolio, including early and late phase development. You will oversee safety in clinical studies and contribute to protocols, IBs, ICFs, and DSURs.

You will lead safety reviews, identify signals, prepare safety data summaries, and collaborate with study teams, CROs, investigators, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification (MD, PharmD, PhD/MSc in Life sciences) or equivalent.
• 5+ years of drug development experience; at least 3 years in drug safety.
• Strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Broad understanding of PV, GVP, GCP, and risk management.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and communicate effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and data interpretation skills.
• Experience presenting safety data and collaborating across functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety in clinical studies and safety governance processes.
• Review and author safety documents (protocols, IBs, ICFs, DSURs).
• Conduct safety signal detection and risk mitigation recommendations.
• Prepare safety data summaries for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with study teams, CROs, investigators, and regulators.
• Support regulatory submissions and safety-related responses.
