HazTek Inc. is seeking a Senior Safety Manager in Chicago, IL, to support client and project needs by ensuring best practices and safety compliance requirements. You will oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, conduct daily safety meetings, and ensure the safety of subcontractors and contractors.

The Senior Safety Manager in Chicago, IL supports specific client and project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years direct construction safety experience required
• Experience managing safety teams
• Degree in a safety related field
• ASP or CSP destination preferred
• Expertknowledge ofconstruction safety standards
• Experience developing a Corporate Healthand Safety Plan
