Job summary

Factor, a brand of HelloFresh, is seeking a Sr. Safety Specialist to lead safety initiatives for a distribution center. You will partner with the Manager of Safety and Loss Prevention to drive HelloFresh’s safety vision and performance.

You will ensure OSHA compliance, conduct safety analyses, train operators, and collaborate across departments to improve processes and reduce risk in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of occupational safety in manufacturing/industrial EHS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or EHS preferred; high school diploma with 4+ years EHS accepted.
• CSP/ASP/OHST or similar certifications preferred.
• Strong OSHA compliance expertise with PITs, LOTO, and injury prevention.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead workplace safety initiatives with the Manager of Safety and Loss Prevention.
• Ensure OSHA compliance in HelloFresh/Green Chef facilities including PITs and LOTO.
• Conduct job safety analyses for on-site tasks.
• Coach forklift operators and develop training materials.
• Investigate accidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with site security and manage safety communications.
• Support other departments with safety and continuous improvement.
