The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Occupational Safety & Health, CSP certification, 5+ years in safety management, and experience with Power BI for metrics. Travel up to 10% and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• 5+ years of safety management and compliance experience in manufacturing or consulting.
• Basic knowledge of environmental requirements within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary teams and across boundaries.
• Critical thinking, decision-making and project management skills.
• Data analytics and visualization with Power BI.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP).

Responsibilities

• Enhance Safety Management Systems and processes to reduce risk.
• Drive risk reduction, compliance, and innovation across teams.
• Lead projects, provide requirements and budgets, and manage vendors.
• Conduct formal risk assessments in Altria facilities and integrate results.
• Lead or support investigations, inspections, and litigation support.
• Serve as facility safety engineer for Richmond locations with site visits.
