Zusammenfassung

PacifiCorp is seeking safety-focused professionals to lead local safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance across operations in Utah. You will develop risk assessments, train staff, inspect facilities, and investigate incidents to prevent recurrence.

The role requires a strong background in industrial safety, hands-on program management, and collaboration with multiple departments. Travel may be required; on-site work in Salt Lake City is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or related field or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years in Industrial Health or Safety.
• Knowledge of State/National Electrical Codes, Electrical Theory and Circuits.
• Expert knowledge of program/contract administration rules, OSHA standards.
• Ability to analyze, assess and investigate for actionable recommendations.
• Ability to develop standards in ambiguous situations.
• Program, practice or policy management and development skills.
• Proficient with PC tools: spreadsheet, database, word processing, presentations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Lead and facilitate local safety committees and emergency response teams.
• Consult and educate employees on laws, regulations and policies for safe work practices.
• Develop safety and health risk assessments, job task analyses, ergonomics and body mechanics assessments.
• Analyze hazards and risks to people, facilities or equipment per regulations.
• Implement processes, policies and procedures to minimize risk.
• Provide expert safety, health, and regulatory counsel.
• Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment for hazards and compliance.
• Investigate industrial accidents or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures.
• Review incidents in depth commensurate with seriousness.
• Review employee safety programs for adequacy.
