Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Safety & Airworthiness Specialist 3 to lead investigations and coordinate with cross-functional teams in Everett, WA. The role emphasizes structured problem solving and regulatory compliance with FAA requirements.

This is a 100% onsite position under an Associate - W2 arrangement. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of related experience, RCCA/PSM familiarity, and knowledge of FAA regulatory and ODA procedures.

Qualifications

• 6+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with RCCA tools (5-Whys, Fishbone) or PSM
• FAA regulatory compliance knowledge and ODA procedures per 8100.15

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations for FAA Letters of Investigation, Formal/Informal Compliance Actions, and other findings.
• Coordinate with functional groups, management and suppliers to align investigation status and resolutions.
• Develop root-cause investigations, containment actions, and prevent recurrence actions.
• Coordinate with Organizational Designation Authorization (ODA) to ensure regulatory expectations are met.
