Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years production Rust in systems software.
• Compiler or language-runtime experience (parser/AST/IR/VM/interpreter).
• Fluent written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize a Rust-based runtime and VM.
• Extend a multi-stage compiler pipeline with features and tests.
• Extend a binary wire protocol and TLS/authentication handling.
• Maintain a Tokio-based async runtime handling thousands of requests.
• Manage a large multi-crate Cargo workspace, CI, and releases.
• Mentor senior engineers and document architectural decisions.
