Job summary

Ctrl+ is a software engineering and staffing firm based in Elkridge, Maryland, supporting Department of Defense missions in the Fort Meade area. This role focuses on turning complex legal and policy requirements into clear, machine-readable rules and controls.

Applicants must hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph; Ctrl+ does not sponsor new clearances. In-person work near Fort Meade is required, with multiple compensation models and potential PTO/bonus options.

Work arrangement: On-site

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph

Applicants must currently hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph. Ctrl+ does not sponsor new security clearances or clearance upgrades. Applicants who do not meet this requirement cannot be considered.

Location & In-Person Requirement

All positions require in-person work. Applicants must live within commuting distance of the listed work location to be considered. Some roles may allow limited telework, but regular on-site attendance is required. These are not fully remote positions.

The mission

Support mission compliance by identifying obligations in legal and policy documents and enabling compliance automation.

What you'll do

• Identify compliance obligations in legal and policy documents
• Design and maintain controls, system requirements and machine-readable rules
• Innovate ways to categorize and manage compliance obligations
• Engage customers to understand problems and recommend solutions
• Prepare reports, responses and briefings for varied audiences
• Maintain user guides and contribute to compliance policy and guidance

What you'll bring

• 15 years of relevant experience in programs involving customer authorities, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as legal, technical or library science (a Master's or J.D. may substitute for 2 years; 4 additional years may substitute for a degree).
• Practical familiarity with customer authorities
• MS Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Pro
• Confluence and Jira
• Report writing and briefing skills
• Compliance analysis and controls design

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with compliance automation or rules engines

Compensation and flexibility

Choose from three compensation models: Max Rate, With Bonus, or With Bonus and PTO. Offers include a projected five-year compensation comparison and a package comparison sheet. PTO and bonuses depend on the selected model and role eligibility.
