Qualifikationen

• U.S. citizenship required by law or government contract.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of electrical hardware design and development experience.
• Experience with PCB design, schematic development, layout and testing.
• Experience designing or integrating I/O interfaces (RS-422/485/232, SSI, CAN, analog, power).
• Embedded hardware experience with C/C++ or Visual Studio.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-1275/461/464/810 and defense hardware standards.

Aufgaben

• Design ruggedized electrical hardware and boards for I/O products and body controllers.
• Develop electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and test plans per industry practices.
• Support I/O interfaces (RS-422/485/232, CAN, analog, power).
• Prototype builds, testing, qualification from concept to production.
• Conduct system analyses, trade studies, and design reviews.
• Develop PDFs, support supplier design, and manage obsolescence.
• Coordinate RCCA investigations and implement engineering fixes.
• Prepare technical content for RFPs and trade studies.
• Apply IPS processes across project phases and maintain docs.
