Ethereum Technologies in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize large-scale web applications using Ruby on Rails. You will design APIs, work across frontend and backend, and integrate GenAI into development workflows.

Qualifications

6+ years of senior software engineering experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and Ruby.
6+ years of experience in API design and interface technologies (JSON, Protobuf, REST, RPC, XML).
Knowledge of integrating GenAI into development workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and implement large-scale web applications and full-stack components across frontend and backend.
Build and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and Ruby as core technologies.
Design and develop APIs and interface technologies (JSON, Protobuf, REST, RPC, XML).
Design, develop, and optimize databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and related technologies.
Troubleshoot performance, response times, capacity, and system limitations.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across applications.
Collaborate with business partners, database, system, and networking teams, and external vendors.
Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications.
Integrate GenAI into software development workflows.
