Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Router to schedule and sequence routes using RoadNet and Mainframe in a timely, accurate manner. You will build cost-efficient routes that meet customer needs and work closely with Sales and Warehouse to determine delivery feasibility.

The role requires a minimum of 4 years in a related environment and strong computer skills, including data entry, report generation, and spreadsheet design. Benefits start day one and shift is Sunday–Thursday, 12pm–8pm.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in related environment
• Computer skills – data entry, general report generation, spreadsheet design
• Knowledge of routing software and load matching required

Responsibilities

• Route trucks by matching customer orders to loads
• Balance loads per trailer by size and weight
• Build cost‑effective routes while meeting customer needs
• Collaborate with Sales and Warehouse to assess delivery feasibility
• Prepare daily reports (route changes, sequence changes, new requests) and maintain routing software parameters
