Job summary

Guardian Roofing, Gutters, & Insulation is seeking a Roofing Replacement/Repair Technician to inspect roofs, diagnose issues, and educate homeowners about treatment options. You will deliver high-quality results while representing the Guardian brand, and work as part of a team to safely complete repairs and replacements.

You will report to Guardian’s headquarters in Wilsonville, OR, with dispatch to Puget Sound and surrounding areas; evenings and weekends are possible.

Qualifications

• Residential roofing system repairs such as composite, shingle, shake, flat and torch.
• Ability to perform tasks daily through completion with attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license, clean record and background check.
• Excellent verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect homes and diagnose roofing issues.
• Present findings to customers and explain treatment needs.
• Provide outstanding customer service to homeowners.
• Become SME on Guardian warranty policies.
• Safely complete roofing tasks and work under varying conditions.
• Work as part of a team and manage priorities.
• Work at heights on roofs and be available evenings/weekends as needed.

Description

POSITION OVERVIEWAs a Roofing Replacement or Repair Technician, you will be responsible for continuously providing high-quality results and representing the Guardian brand. Additionally, you will interact and engage with our customers providing exceptional service, care and concern for their project while adhering to Guardian policy. The Roofing Replacement/Repair Technician will be responsible for the full reconstruction of a roof as well as repairs that clients may identify while working collectively as a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect customer’s homes and diagnose issues with roofing system
• Present findings to customer and educate on treatment requirements as well as answer any follow up questions about the issues and services
• Provide excellent customer service experience to home owners
• Become subject matter expert on Guardian’s warranty policies
• Demonstrated roofing experience.
• Successful history of safety standard adherence.
• Ability to manage high volume workload with competing and changing priorities.
• Ability to work from heights on roofs exposed to the elements.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
  
  

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience with residential roofing system repairs such as Composite, Shingle, Shake, Flat and Torch varieties.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks daily through completion with a strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license, clean motor vehicle record, and background check.
• Excellent verbal communication skills. Must be fluent in English.
• Must be able to work independently and adhere to appointment schedule
• Must not be afraid of heights or confined spaces
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling
• Ability to work well with others.
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and extensive safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.

LOCATION AND SHIFT

• You will be expected to report daily to Guardian's headquarters in Wilsonville, OR and will be dispatched to varying jobsites throughout the Puget Sound area
• Monday - Friday. Weekend availability as needed highly preferred
• 7:00am - finish
