Job summary

CSG Talent in the United States is seeking a Cost Estimator to review plans and prepare accurate estimates for construction projects, ensuring pricing aligns with project scope and specifications.

You will conduct site visits, gather data from project teams, and develop detailed quantity takeoffs and material pricing to support bid submissions.

The role involves identifying cost-saving opportunities, supporting pre-bid meetings, and maintaining records of estimates and proposals to meet deadlines.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope, conditions, and potential risks
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and material pricing based on project requirements
• Identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and submit them to clients within specified deadlines
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and negotiations with clients and subcontractors
