Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Robotics Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer to be located in Boston, MA. This role ensures robotic products meet requirements, are safe and compliant for clinical use, and supports regulatory submissions and releases with cross-functional teams.

You will plan, execute, and document V&V activities per FDA, ISO 13485, IEC standards and related quality systems. In-office presence 3–5 days/week with travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in V&V engineering within the medical device industry.
• Experience with Class II or Class III medical devices is preferred.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with systems engineering to ensure requirements clarity, testability and traceability.
• Define minimum testable requirements post-change (risk-based, essential performance, basic safety).
• Develop and execute V&V strategies and master system test plans for complex medical devices.
• Prepare and deliver system-level V&V documentation and review sub-system verification deliverables.
