Job summary

FANUC America seeks a Senior Software Product Manager to drive strategic planning and product development for robotic software solutions. You will define requirements, manage new and existing products, and align with market opportunities and customer needs.

The role requires strong program management, hands-on robotics software experience (KAREL/ROBOGUIDE), and the ability to collaborate with R&D. Expect cross-functional leadership and a path to advancing FANUC's software offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in Product Management or related role.
• Experience in robotic simulation or robot software development (e.g., KAREL, ROBOGUIDE, TP programming).
• Familiarity with applicable standards (ISO, RIA).
• Advanced project management skills (planning, administration).

Responsibilities

• Define software product requirements to support market opportunities and customer needs.
• Develop product presentations, competitive analyses, and technical sales materials.
• Support evaluation, prioritization, and planning for development requests.
• Coordinate maintenance and enhancement of existing products and successful introduction of new products.
• Develop test plans with R&D teams and evaluate new products.
• Prepare marketing materials and pricing recommendations.
• Support engineers with training materials and subject‑matter expertise.
• Assist with evaluations, demonstrations, proposals, and feasibility assessments.
• Identify software concerns and coordinate resolution.
• Support trade shows and marketing initiatives.
