You will collaborate across perception, controls, embedded and EE, building robust test coverage and automating tooling. This fast-paced defense startup emphasizes hands-on delivery and ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of robotics software engineering with real shipped systems behind you.
• Strong hands-on development chops; production code on real hardware.
• ROS2 experience and good judgement on when not to use it.
• Experience building or operating CI/CD for robotics or hardware-in-the-loop systems.
• Ownership mentality toward quality and test discipline.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development across the robotics software stack from perception, control, and autonomy.
• Champion QA practices and test coverage, embedding quality into the workflow.
• CI/CD infrastructure and deployment hygiene for robotics and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Write and maintain automated tests and tooling to catch failures early.
• Code review and raising the quality bar across the robotics SWE team.
