Qualifications

• PhD in Robotics or related field with focus on whole-body control and manipulation.
• Minimum 6+ years of applied research experience after Masters/PhD.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, and Java.
• Extensive experience with deep learning, RL, and vision for robotics.
• Proficiency with robotics frameworks (ROS) and simulation tools (Mujoco, Drake).
• Experience with large-scale data processing (Spark, Hadoop) and ML libraries (TensorFlow, scikit-learn).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement whole body control methods for balance, locomotion, and manipulation.
• Advance learning-based and model-based control methods.
• Develop robust behaviors for diverse terrains and tasks.
• Build real-time controllers with stability guarantees.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on hardware-software co-design.
• Mentor junior engineers and scientists with 3+ years ML model experience.
• Work on state estimation from multi-sensor data and benchmarks.
• Contribute to the deployment of controllers in simulation and real systems.
