FieldAI seeks a Research Scientist in Boston to advance humanoid manipulation, developing data-driven and physically grounded methods for flexible robot learning. You will design rigorous experiments and validate capabilities on real humanoid robots, pushing state-of-the-art across RL, imitation learning, and multimodal representations.

Qualifications

• PhD in Robotics, CS, ML, EE, or Mech Eng.
• Strong research record in robot learning, manipulation, RL, IR, multimodal learning.

Responsabilités

• Lead high-impact humanoid manipulation research projects.
• Develop model architectures, learning objectives, and training methods for large-scale robot learning.
• Establish baselines, evaluation protocols, and benchmarks for manipulation generalization.
• Translate research into scalable training pipelines and reliable robot capabilities.
• Mentor researchers and collaborate across research, engineering, systems, and product teams.
