Qualifications

• PhD in Engineering, Robotics, CS or related with 5+ years’ experience, or Master’s with 8+ years.
• Significant robotics and autonomous systems experience.
• Record of technical innovation (publications, patents, prototypes).
• Experience in robot design, motion planning, perception, manipulation, controls, or HRI.
• Ability to lead across functions, teams, and programs.
• Willing to work on-site in Niskayuna, NY; US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across robotics and autonomy initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive prototype development.
• Develop systems spanning design, perception, manipulation, and HRI.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance research programs.
