Description

As a member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled engineers and scientists to bring new experiences to Apple products. This position requires a self‑motivated algorithm engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to handle responsibilities including:

• Integrating intricate AI systems into a larger software stack

Minimum Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Math, Robotics or related field
• Strong software engineering background
• Ability to break down large features and implement practical solutions
• Curiosity about new technologies, flexibility, and openness to ambiguity
• Proficiency with modern ML approaches (LLMs, Diffusion Models, etc.) as well as traditional ML methods (Linear Regression, Decision Trees, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with classical robotic algorithms (optimization, graph search, etc.)
• Strong applied math background (e.g., graphics, vision, optimization, controls, or planning)
• Familiarity with the full robotics stack (controls, perception, motion planning, etc.)
• Familiarity with Swift and Apple developer tools

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
