Metric Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Roadway Professional Engineer to lead the design of roadway projects in Florida.

The role involves planning, analysis, and delivery from concept through final design and construction, with responsibilities for client relationships and business development. The ideal candidate will reside in West, Southwest, or South Florida and may require some onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or higher required.
• Active Florida PE license required.
• 8+ years of roadway design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway and related infrastructure design from concept through final plans.
• Coordinate roadway, drainage, utility, traffic, and other design elements with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and client expectations.
• Lead pursuits: identify opportunities, develop proposals, participate in interviews.
