Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers seeks a Senior Roadway Engineer in Raleigh, NC or Westlake, TX. You will lead highway design teams and oversee multi-disciplinary design efforts across OpenRoads, Civil 3D, and related tools.

The role requires a PE, 15+ years of civil/highway design, and strong leadership. Travel up to 25% is anticipated; the position is not remote and offers superior benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• 15+ years civil/highway design experience.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with design-build/alternative delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead highway and civil design teams on major projects.
• Provide oversight to design teams and mentor staff.
• Oversee QA/QC and develop quality plans.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for roadway design.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and lead design discussions.
