Department of State Hospitals – Atascadero is seeking a Supervising Registered Nurse (Safety) for Central Medical Services. The role supervises clinic operations, ensures compliance with Joint Commission, Licensure, and OSHA standards, and oversees outside medical care and telemedicine.

The position offers the opportunity to manage quality programs and ensure adherence to state regulations within a secured treatment environment on the central coast of California.

Qualifications

• Eligibility by certification list, transfer eligibility, or reinstatement eligibility.
• Minimum requirements specified in the class specification.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Licensure, and OSHA standards; develop and review policies and procedures for clinic services.
• Provide immediate supervision and management to Central Medical Clinic and Outside Medical Care including Prior Authorization.
• Supervise P.O.S.T. and Public Health administratively.
• Monitor quality management related to outside-referred care, prior authorization and telemedicine.
• Ensure performance standards are met as required by policy and state law.
