Job summary

La Clínica de La Raza is seeking Registered Nurses to provide primary care in an outpatient setting, delivering nursing care, triage, education, and case management for a diverse patient population in the Bay Area.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, flexibility for evening and weekend triage clinics, and a commitment to health equity and culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing and California RN license; 2–3 years in adult medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, or gynecology with triage.
• BLS certification required, 30-day grace to obtain after hire.
• BSN preferred but not required; RN I/II depending on licensure level.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing assessment and initial care for urgent care calls or visits.
• Perform triage of patients and determine urgency; provide medical advice by phone or in clinic.
• Support providers during procedures, conduct medication reviews, and perform BP and glucose checks.
• Interview patients/families for history and accurate assessment; manage case information and workflow.
