Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred).
• Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, especially in direct patient care.
• Certifications in BLS and other relevant areas, required upon hire.
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, time management, and computer skills.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced settings and respond effectively to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care.
• Deliver relationship-based care tailored to patient demographics and cultural diversity.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal-setting.
• Ensure documentation of care and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members via interdisciplinary rounds and communication methods.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a competent, professional nursing workforce.
