Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
• RN licensure in Texas (permanent license within 60 days if establishing residency).
• BLS and ACLS certification within required timeframes.
• NIHSS certification within 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and assessments for a diverse patient population.
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and interprofessional team to coordinate care.
• Lead unit activities, precept students/new staff, and participate in governance initiatives.
